Staying Cool In the Hot Seat is our Interview Skills Program. In this program participants will learn how to face interviews with the confidence that leads to job offers and promotions in the workplace. This program reviews the fundamentals of interviews and introduces participants to new tips and tricks of the trade. We will cover a myriad of different aspects of the interview process, starting with one’s approach to the interview and concluding with interview follow up and keeping contact with potential employers.
Participants will learn how to think on their feet, avoid nervousness, and overcome any fears or speech impediments that are triggered by anxiety. Preparation is key to success in any level of the interview. Our experts will teach job seekers how to prepare appropriately for their interviews or appointments and how to use the knowledge they’ve gained from this research to their advantage in the corporate environment.
We offer expert advice on how to handle phone interviews as well as in-person interviews. Our participants will be given classroom seminars along with one on one consultations. All participants will have the opportunity to go through a mock interview with business professionals. These interviews will be video taped and reviewed with participants in order to eliminate any faux pas and flaws that would hinder their success in the workplace. We equip participants with the confidence and finesse they need to achieve their professional goals.
This program is ideally suited for new graduates, be it at the undergraduate or graduate level.
